About Dragon OCR:
Established in 2017, Dragon OCR is a relative newcomer to the scene but they've got some big plans! This local 5k is based in North Carolina, owned and operated by OCR veteran Charles Bailey. Most of the obstacles are friendly enough for OCR newcomers, with some tougher obstacles added to the mix to challenge more experienced participants. The obstacles are not mandatory obstacle completion, and racers may try any of the obstacles are many times as they wish without penalty.
Bailey started this race with money out of his own pocket, based on his passion for the sport of OCR and his desire to see it grow. There is also a large "giving back" component to his mindset: he plans to donate some of the race profits to those in need and Dragon OCR is a supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project.

I will give a percent of my profit to charities and people in need.
